How to Install Inside Mount Blinds
With every product, the process might differ but the basics for every type remain the same. We provide a clear overview of the inside mount blinds installation process.
- Always position the bracket on the upper side of the window frame so that they are level with the surface of a wall.
- Mark the sites where the screws will go, now repeat the above steps to place the second bracket in the frame's opposite corner.
- Use a tape made of steel for measurement to make sure that the locations of the two brackets are even.
- To drill holes, always use a drill bit, a bit smaller than your screws and then make holes on the marks.
How to Install Outside Mount Blinds
The overall process of the installation of outside mount blinds is the same for all types though few variations can be made in some cases, yet the main steps are one for all.
- The first bracket always positions in the frame’s upper corner, meanwhile, check for the specific product’s description to make sure.
- Mark the locations with a pencil where you will drill holes for screws, and make exact markings for the screws.
- The above-mentioned steps will get repeated for the second bracket on the opposite side of the frame.
- Use a steel measuring tape to check that the position of the two brackets is even.
